Well, it's a bit of a stretch, but here's my version of Tango! I made lots of butterflies from Japanese paper for a project this weekend and these two fluttered over to my sketchbook and began a Tango around the watercolour roses!
Oh, Caroline that is simply exquisite! Truly beautiful. I'm in awe. That picture should be enlarged, framed and hung in pride of place.
I can't tell you how pleased I am to be able to get into your blog again. I've finally realised what the glitch was which affected my getting into the Blogosphere - it was the wretched new version of Internet Explorer! I've now cleaned it off my hard drive and the problem has vanished
I was also bowled over by your wonderful post about Spain. It is absolutely my favourite country - after Africa of course (well, that's a continent...so not the same thing!) We've spent a great deal of time exploring that lovely country since moving to England and your superb photographs whisked me right back there today. How utterly lovely it looks....I can't wait for your post about Rhonda!
Loved the hippo post Caroline and that song - I remember that from years ago as a child and listening to Family Favourites on the radio on Sundays. Also, the butterflies are beautiful, especially with your painting. Co-incidentally I have just posted a drawing with butterflies which I have never drawn before.
Hi Caroline, I am curious of what you are doing for IF this week. Wow! Really to my sweet surprise that these butterfly are dancing happily surrounding their great frinding-a rose! Love the details and composition of the piece. Happy day to you. I also agree with Tessa. This is a precious picture that should be treasure. When it's frame up, it will be a collection to hang.
I am sure you are most delighted of the idea to add an extra piece on your wall right! Then, everyday as you pass by, you can look at it over and over again!
Delightful, Caroline. The butterflies are beautiful, such lovely paper and folds. And how you placed them, on top of your delicate painting of flowers on your sketchbook, it makes for a winning image!
Hi Caroline! WOWEE these are gorgeous. You are so talented. I have been away on vacation and just catching up with your beautiful blog! bye for now, Lisa
