Travelling Books page
Here's another page for one of the ArtySoulSisters Travelling Books . This one if for Soulbrush - hope you like it Joss! The book has taken on a 'flying' theme and my contribution features a collage created from a relief print of an owl I made from a linocut, on handmade paper which was then applied to coloured japanese papers. The second half of the page is similar paper stamped with a feather I carved from an eraser, plus other papers from my stash!

ReplyDeleteit is fantastic, love it lots caroline, it just 'sings' out (not that owls sing) and i love all types of printing.
ReplyDeleteWow, your linocut owl and feathers are so beautiful Caroline. I am also in love with the zingy bright colours of turquoise and yellow. A favourite combination of mine and visually stunning against the black.
ReplyDeleteEntangled is a wonderful response to the theme. The little people are quite clear. Congrats on your lovely gifts received in the post too. I am intrigued by ATC's too but never seem to have the time to do any. I love the idea of tiny, original art though.
Caroline what a treat it is for your friends to receive your artwork. I personally know that feeling.
