Love those little clumsy ducklings Caroline. You are so good at thinking of great ideas for the theme.
Isn't it wonderful the way the blogging community has taken fund raising for Haiti to its heart (no pun intended...haha). I have donated a couple of prints to the Craft Hope for Haiti Etsy shop but the hearts idea is also a lovely one. Disasters are terrible and tragic but they do bring a wonderful community and humane spirit to the fore.
Truly beautiful. I super love the different yellows here. Just yellow itself already got so many different values and layers. You are doing great with the colours and textures. So, the existence of clumsiness is rightful....don't ignore it!
You never disappoint! These little ones are so very sweet and yes, they are a bit clumsy, aren't they?! They are delightful, Caroline! And your Hearts for Haiti illustrations are so very well done.
Awwwww! So perfect for the theme. Ducklings are so sweet, innocent and comical. Oh and tend to be quite clumsy when not in the water. Heee heeeee! Love your wonderful handling of the watercolor and their sweet expressions.
Oh Caroline, they are darling! We raised ducks when we moved from the city to the suburbs and the ducklings and the chicks were the cutest creatures! You know how much I admire your watercolor work! Magnificent!
Aahhhh, so cute. Well done!
ReplyDeleteOMG!!
ReplyDeleteI'm quacking up, Caroline! This is so precious.
I use a lot of words like wonderful, awesome, inspiring, but I use 'precious' sparingly. You are a master artist.
All in watercolors. WOW
I kept staring at the webbed feet, thinking how does she do that?
