A very quick piece for this week's Illustration Friday - 'Twirl'! I created this with watercolour pencils on paper I'd previously patterned by impressing cling film into paint and ink.
Great textures, i love making patterns and textures using unusual methods, don't think i have tried cling film yet :) all the blue has a lovely soothing feel too.
Beautiful twirling and whirling and swirling! Love how her hair encircles her face as she gently spins. So wonderfl! And I love the background texture too!
Wow, what a neat effect! Such cool patterns for the water and a great mermaid figure.
