Quite oblivious to all the onlookers at Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur!

What an array of beauty. The monkeys are delightful. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOMG, caroline, my first thought was 'please don't let this guy be my blind date!' :^) this first statue makes me chuckle, no prettying up body fat in this artifact.
ReplyDeleteyour use of 'i spy' is adorable. yes i've been sick but i'm smiling from my visit here this morning.
i'm glad the monkeys are not self conscious.

I really like that first statue - at first I thought it was a woman's body until I saw the mustache. It's so full of rolly polly life! The monkeys remind me of see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteLol.... nothing more important than monkey grooming monkey grooming monkey.
ReplyDeleteWow. What a world!
ReplyDeleteThis is in Thailand? The statues look Hindu. I wonder if monkeys like to be deloused.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! Amazing statues, and I sure wish I had some good friends to chain-groom like that. :)
ReplyDeletewow- both posts are amazing! thanks for the link to the other one- which is astonishing. The hair is um, icky...and religion is too much work but how colourful! Love the monkeys! what a fabulous trip you had! So inspiring! Thank you!
