Illustration Friday - Capable

'Capable' ©Caroline Soer

'Capable' for Illustration Friday.  Now you see me, now you don't ! Chameleons are capable of blending in with the scenery!  Very quickly done this afternoon with Inktense pencils and a touch of gouache. Oh dear - I've just noticed that he looks like he's been impaled, poor little chap!

  4. You are so good at matching up an unusual sketch to a word prompt! I love this little guy. Maybe not impaled, but transparent - and that also makes him capable!

  5. They sure are! They used to scare me when I was a kid. They look so prehistoric. Your color matches perfectly.

  9. Chameleons are so cool. And yours is the coolest! I love that shade of green. And I did not think about him being impaled, but now that you mention it, I see it! Ack! Hehehehehe. :D

  12. The impalement is just an illusion I'm sure. Conjured by the Chameleon for sympathy. Or maybe to make us think he is already dead. Very smart!
