After a few weeks absence from Illustration Friday, I'm trying to catch up. I seem to have had a bit of a mouse obsession - all three paintings feature the little critters! Above is my offering for this week's word - 'Sneaky'! Do click to enlarge to check out these little meece's expressions.

great mice...they are all cuties..wonderful fotos of all the wedding happenings too. Did your kitty kat miss you while you were gone?
ReplyDeleteMischievous little things! Great expressions and I love the whole composition of this piece. I understand about obsessions, for a while I was drawing ladies with a cat head on their head. :)

Caroline, I'm behind in commenting but let me just say those wedding pictures were amazing! What a beautiful bride Louisa was~wow~! And sister Julia is quite stunning herself. Was there another daughter? I'm forgetting, but I do know you are a beautiful family. Louisa looks so much like dad!
You must be relieved it's over. I know it took a lot of planning and hard work but wow, just wow!!

Mice are appropriate around here. The little rascals are trying to come in to find a warm place for winter. Cute sketches all. Welcome back.

ReplyDeleteHi Caroline. It is wonderful to be back in the blogging world. I have missed everyones' activities and creations. Love the mice. Spent is my favourite. I really like the background. I was blown away by the wedding photos. Your daughters are gorgeous and the groom is sooo handsome. What a lovely couple and you and hubby looked great too. Glad you had such a wonderful time. We are snowbound here in the UK now so I hope you are enjoying your sunshine.
