It's been several weeks since I took part in Illustration Friday. :( Here's a last minute offering for Illustration Friday's 'Duet' which I started happily enough in watercolour, but it wasn't long before I'd made a bit of a hash of it (must be out of practice), so rescued it with my trusty watercolour pencils and gouache!

Transportation is this week's Illustraton Friday theme. In this watercolour pencil and ink piece, the wind is whisking the little mouse with his parasol up into the air and his friends try to rescue him! The image is a little small, but if you click and then click again you'll get a better view.

Caught red handed in the old cookie tin - a family of mice enjoying a feast of double chocolate chip cookies!

My submission for this week's Illustration Friday - 'Double''. I used watercolour pencil, gouache and ink for this one.

Watch out little birdie!

It's been several weeks since I participated in Illustration Friday and as I haven't had time this week to create something new, here's a little something I made a few months ago for an ATC swap with my blogging friend Mônica. I think this little bird looks quite fearless up there on his high branch with Tia eyeing him from below.

Another Travelling Books Page

This one is for Marianne whose book is all about her little black cat Sjimmie who is travelling the world. He arrived here in KL a few days ago and has been having a great time sightseeing and learning all about life in Malaysia. He sent a postcard back home and put his photos in an album - they're all attached with photo hinges - the postcard has a message for Marianne on the reverse. I used watercolour pencils, ink, paper and batik fabric to create this page.
